What is the last price?
The last price is essentially the most recent price of a share. Every 20 minutes during market hours, the last price is updated by reflecting the value at which the share was most recently traded. People can use this number as a reference in determining how much the stock is worth.
Please note that normal market hours are business days between 9:30am and 4:00pm Eastern. Business days are Mondays through Fridays, excluding weekends and market holidays.
