Who is eligible, how do you upgrade into it?
The Smart Portfolio is offered to customers enrolled in our Stash Growth and Stash+ subscriptions. To upgrade your subscription, go to your profile icon in the top left corner of the app, tap “Subscription plan” and select your preferred option.
The Smart Portfolio best aligns with the goals of users who seek more guidance on their investing journey. The financial experts at Stash help manage your investments when you add money to your Smart Portfolio.
There is no other eligibility requirement on the basis of income or other personal factors, but we have determined that a $5 account balance is necessary to fund the portfolio.
A “Smart Portfolio” is a Discretionary Managed account whereby Stash has full authority to manage. “Smart” is only available in Growth ($3) and/or premium ($9).
