Using a one-time transfer:
- Use this link to begin a transfer.
- Enter the dollar amount you would like to transfer.
- Select your desired source of funds as the “From” account.

Using funds from a payment app (like Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal):
If you have a balance on Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal, or a similar payment app, you can use that money to fund your Stash Banking account. Add your Stock-BackⓇ Card as a payment method on your payment app, then transfer your balance instantly to Stash (the vendor may charge a fee).
You can also link your Stash banking account to your payment app using your Stash banking account and routing numbers.
Using a local retailer to deposit cash:
You can make fee-free cash deposits to your Stash banking account at some major retailers across the U.S., including CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, and Rite-Aid.2 Here’s how it works:
- Visit any participating retail location near you.
- Generate a unique barcode for that retailer on the app here.
- Show the barcode to the cashier and hand them your cash to make your deposit.
Note: Cash deposits must be between $20-$999.
It can take up to 30 minutes for your cash to be available in your Stash banking account. If you still do not see the funds after 30 minutes, contact the store where you deposited the cash. If they can’t help you locate the missing deposit, please contact us for assistance. Be sure to have the information on your receipt handy when you speak with a customer support representative.
