How do I update or change my name?
If you need to change your first or last name, you’ll have to contact Customer Support. Before you do, here’s a list of the documents you should have on hand in order to complete the name change process:
- Government-issued ID showing your new name
- Marriage certificate
- Divorce certificate
- Certified court order
You won’t need all of these documents, just the ones that pertain to your name change. When you’ve got your documents in order and are ready to start the name-change process, please call us at 800-205-5164 from 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. ET Monday-Friday, and from 10:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m. ET Saturday and Sunday, or email us at support@stash.com.
