Why haven’t I received my direct deposit?
If you were expecting a direct deposit into your Stash banking account, but it hasn’t arrived yet, this could be due to one of a few reasons. Here are the most common reasons you may not have received your direct deposit:
You recently signed up for Stash direct deposit
If you just submitted your Stash direct deposit enrollment form, remember it can take 1-2 pay periods for you to get the first deposit. This can take up to 60 days for some payroll schedules.
During this time, your paycheck should come the way it did before you started the Stash direct deposit enrollment process. Check with your employer’s payroll department or in the bank account in which you previously received your paycheck.
It’s a weekend or holiday
If your paycheck is scheduled to arrive on a weekend or holiday, the payment won’t be processed until the next business day. Transactions are not processed on weekends or holidays. Ask your employer’s payroll department if there is a calendar of scheduled payroll dates.
There is a mistake
Double check to make sure your company’s payroll department has the following information correctly filled out:
- Your first and last name
- Email address
- Physical address
- Social Security Number
- Stash account and routing numbers
