ACH transfer through your external bank

Transfers through an external bank, called ACH transfers, can take 2-4 business days, and require that you verify your external bank account.

To verify your external bank account, you will need to either connect your account through Plaid by entering your login credentials or confirm that you received two small test deposits (into your external bank account) of a few cents each to make sure the two banks are linked properly.

To set up an ACH transfer:

  1. Get your Stash banking account and routing numbers
  2. Visit your external bank to set up a transfer to your Stash debit account.

Please note: Bank transfers can take 2-4 business days to arrive in your Stash banking account. If it doesn’t appear within that time frame, please contact your external bank.
